CASRAI is very happy to welcome Elsevier to our nonprofit, community-driven initiative to advance open data standards for research administration interoperability. Elsevier is a leading international supplier as both a publisher and an information solutions provider to universities, funders and industry. This makes them a key player in the research management space. Their decision to help advance interoperability standards between databases via a common dictionary shows great leadership on their part and bodes well for the sustainability of the CASRAI approach to solving the persistent problem of 'disconnect' within and between research stakeholders.
